Department Overview
The Canadian Retail Finance (CRF) organization is a team of professionals that provides finance and advisory support to the Canadian Personal Banking, Business Banking, Wealth and Insurance businesses that form the Canadian Retail Segment, the largest Segment of TD Bank. Within CRF, the Performance Management and Insights (PMI) finance team supports development and achievement of Canadian Retail Segment level financial and strategic objectives through robust reporting and forecasting capabilities, strategic decision support, and competitive benchmarking insights. The team supports the effectiveness of the segment business heads as well as their CFOs through business and financial insights and advice.
The PMI teams works closely with enterprise partners representing such as Investor Relations, Enterprise Strategy & Decision Support, Treasury & Balance Sheet Management, as well as Credit Risk.

Job Description
The Senior Manager, Capital, Stress Testing, and Controls, Performance Management & Insights (PMI) reports to the Associate Vice President, PMI and works with a talented and diverse team of professionals to provide finance advisory support, insightful analysis, and decision support for all lines of business within Canadian Retail Segment.
This role is a great opportunity to build a deep understanding of the largest segment of TD Bank that consists of a diverse range of Canadian businesses; support and advise senior business and finance executives and build an extensive network across enterprise finance and Cad Retail businesses while helping to build finance capabilities for the organization.
The primary accountabilities of the Senior Manager include:
- Accountable for capital and RWA reporting, forecasting, and strategic analysis supporting capital management outcomes, with close partnership with Risk & Finance partners
- Provide advisory support on financial and capital analyses including what-if scenarios and ad hoc initiatives, such as analysis of capital impact of proposed transactions/projects
- Owner of Canadian Retail Segment’s annual stress testing exercise, including leadership in process, modelling, inputs/assumptions, as well as messaging and recommendations
- Primary relationship manager for teams providing federated support to Finance, including Finance Operations, and Corporate Transformation Office. The Senior Manager will need to design, “test and learn”, and establish support models with these critical partners on behalf of PMI as well as the CRF organization where there are broader implications.
- Manage data risks and data governance on behalf of the Canadian Retail Finance team, as the designated Data Stewart.
- Accountable for the design and implementation of robust controls in the PMI team as well as controls related issues/projects that have pan-organization impact on the broader Canadian Retail Finance team
- Build out a robust financial reporting & analysis framework of the Canadian Retail Finance balance sheet, and own balance sheet related analysis and issue investigations.
- Lead strategic initiatives to advance Canadian Retail business and/or finance priorities as required
