Job title: Senior Manager, T&O Finance – Transformation & Enterprise Operations

Job description: Make an impact as the CFO of one of the groups within TEO – Payments’ and Trade Operations (PTO) & Symcor, reporting to the Director Finance that will provide you with an opportunity to independently work with the business partners to achieve their business and financial goals.

Responsible for the development and management of the financial plans for your respective business group, you will proactively improve the financial processes and provide advice by understanding the business, operations and their clients across different geography and platforms; having an in-depth knowledge and/or open to learn the business imperatives and performance drivers relative to these imperatives; and having a strong understanding of financial practices and accounting standards to excel in this role.

What will you do?

• Be a trusted finance partner. Apply in-depth understanding of the organizations’ business model and key business drivers to influence financials performance, assess financial implications of business initiatives, and influence the zero base budgeting initiative
• Collaborate with business teams to foster an environment of financial discipline, transparency and accountability
• Perform analysis of trends, variances, forecast, key metrics in order to identify opportunities and provide advice to the business team on meeting financial targets and improving investment outcomes
• Collaborate with the business partners to implement an efficient process for planning, forecasting, monthly estimate, monthly reporting while helping them bridge between top-down targets and bottom-up asks
• Develop, review and oversee production of accurate and relevant management reporting packages for TEO pillars and respective platform/functions Finance, including financial information and relevant metrics
• Responsible for understanding the implications of business strategies on headcount and ensuring data integrity of Full Time Employee (FTE) and contractor tracking by working closely with the various planning teams within the business pillars
• End to end transparency from NIE of the TEO service pillars including allocations to segments.
• Partner with Financial Controls team to ensure effective controls and governance oversight over monthly close, P&L analysis, balance sheet review and attestation, and financial disclosures
• Continuously improve process, find opportunities to standardize, and automate with focus on providing value-added analysis and insights

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

• 5+ years’ experience in finance/accounting field
• Strong finance systems knowledge (i.e. EPM, SAP, PeopleSoft)
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Superior communication skills
• Expert in Excel and PowerPoint

Nice-to-have

• Financial designation or MBA
• Knowledge of RBC financial systems and processes
• Knowledge of Operations and Shared Services
