Responsibilities:
-Processing time-sensitive trust transactions (deposits and payments) as directed by professionals – real estate transactions, settlements, etc. -Preparing daily bank deposits for client’s trust funds. -Assist with other related duties and special projects as assigned -Handle Accounts Receivable tasks: process daily invoices/credit and apply cash receipt -Add financial information to journals and ledgers -Reconcile discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as needed -Assist with general accounting tasks, including G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects -Create statements and reports that require the use of a number of sources -Accurately code documents with expenditure codes and accounting code
Qualifications:
-Post-secondary courses in accounting -3+ years of accounting experience -Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. -Knowledge of accounting software and banking procedures. -Ability to change intensity to fit a changing work cycle, attention to small and personalized details in relation to individual detail oriented requirements. -Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, while always maintaining a detail oriented demeanor. -Excellent organizational skills.
