Recruitment Partners is on the search for a Vice President, Finance to join our esteemed client’s team. As a key member of the finance organization, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for providing strategic direction as well as short- and long-term objectives for the organization.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Collaborate with leadership, other divisions, and departments to develop and meet Company financial goals while supplying expertise and guidance on financial operations projects and systems
• Establish, implement, and communicate the direction, standards, and procedures of the operations within the finance departments
• Ensure that departmental decisions and project plans are in line with the organization’s short and long – term business plan and vision
• Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline financial organizational processes and its effective use of resources and materials
• Establish, communicate, and implement best in class finance related policies, systems, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective, consistent support and robust execution
• Review and approve financial statements, implement budgets and staffing requirements for projects
• Present periodic performance reports and metrics to the CFO
• Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, and policy changes within the industry
• Lead and oversee the day-to-day performance and delivery of the finance team and provide strong leadership, positive and critical feedback and mentoring of employees
• Develop relationships with external stakeholders
• Analyze company’s financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets, and issue regular status and ad hoc reports to the CFO

Your strengths include:

• Bachelors or master’s degree in finance or an equivalent field
• Minimum of 10 years experience in and industry related field
• 5+ years experience in a senior leadership role
• CA designation with Public Accounting experience is preferred
• Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Strong system skills including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, interpretative and advisory skills.
• Excellent client service and interpersonal/communication skills
• Proven track record of success, leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary teams
• Able to exercise sound judgment, is self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize key requirements in a demanding environment
• Must be able to travel
