OPPORTUNITY
Ribbon is looking for a Co-op student to work within its Product Support organization. The individual will be working with the supplier management team and will be involved in the management of the budget for technical support. The Role will also involve the tracking of purchase orders, reviewing current spend and looking for opportunities for efficiencies.
The successful candidate will have an opportunity to see how a multi-national high-tech company manages it’s supplier relationships and budget.
As part of our team you will
- Assist with management of the supplier budget
- Tracking of supplier purchase orders
- Tracking of spend against forecast
- Reviewing current spend and looking for opportunities for efficiencies
QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrolled and pursuing a post-secondary education in any of the areas of finance/business/commerce or equivalent
- Previous work experience is not required
- Must be driven, enthusiastic, hardworking, a self-starter, eager to learn, and have a strong work ethic
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Excel and Excel VBA would be beneficial
