We currently have a temporary opportunity available until Nov 30th 2023. This position may become permanent or be extended.
An eligibility list may be established for future permanent and/or temporary vacancies.
This position can be performed virtually in any MCFD ministry office (subject to operational requirements and space availability), locations may include: Vancouver, Victoria,Richmond, Squamish, North Vancouver, or depending on location and office availability.

Provide project administration support services for complex projects in this career building role
The Corporate Operations Support Branch within the Finance and Corporate Services Division provides support to ministry service lines with the vision of “Building a better tomorrow by supporting children, youth and families today.”
The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring effective operation of the project management practices of the Procurement Strategy transformation team within the ministry. They will prepare work products, facilitate collaboration, and support team members.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Secondary School Graduation or equivalent (GED). Preference may be given to applicants with some post-secondary education or training in the area of project management, or equivalent.
- Experience providing Agile project management and coordination services for assigned projects.
- Experience facilitating meetings and presentations with stakeholders.
