Job description: Please note: This posting is for a 4-month Student Summer 2022 placement with a start date of May 2022, and end-date of August 2022. In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:
- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2022; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2022), you must require the work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

What is the opportunity?
As a member of the Business Integration Team, you will be working with the Team to provide support for RBC Insurance Operations and to participate in project initiatives. You will provide an appropriate level of support for all types of change initiatives/projects, driven by or impacting the Insurance organization. You will be helping to ensure that production support is being provided in a timely manner and projects are being implemented efficiently.
What will you do?
- Provide business/system support to Operations and other business areas
- Work with subject matter experts to understand business rules/requirements
- Utilize Excel to manage data and validate complex calculations
- Perform processes on Policy Administration systems
- Support and collaborate with IT partners to manage and help resolve Production/Technical issues
What will you need to succeed?
Must Have
- Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution in a Finance, Business or Mathematics stream of study
- Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environment
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts with a high attention to details
- Strong MS Office Skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Nice to Have
- Understanding of Insurance
- Working knowledge of insurance Admin systems
