Job Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the incumbent is responsible for assisting the Grant Accountant – Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) and Financial Analyst – CTU with the accurate, timely and efficient processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions related to the Clinical Trials Unit at CancerCare Manitoba.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Certificate or Business Diploma in Accounting or related area or a combination of education and experience may be considered
• Minimum of one (1) year of recent related experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with Great Plains Accounting Software
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Detail-oriented and the ability to plan or adjust to a variable workload
• Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
• Makes use of effective organization and problem-solving skills
• Legally able to work in Canada

Asset:

• Ability to speak French

Salary: As per CUPE Collective Agreement

Direct care workers are required to either be vaccinated for COVID-19 or to participate in on-going regular COVID-19 testing pursuant to Orders made under The Public Health Act C.C.S.M. c. P210.
